Job summary

O'Charley’s is seeking a Dish Operator to join our kitchen team on site. You will set up and operate the dishwashing station, clean and sanitize dishes, and ensure proper handling of wares to support fast, high-quality service.

You will work with line cooks to maintain a clean, efficient kitchen and follow all procedures, safety and sanitation guidelines. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow dishwashing procedures and maintain cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down the dish machine and keep it clean and functional.
• Wash and store dishes, silverware and glassware according to procedures.
• Monitor water temperature and report any equipment issues.
• Maintain a clean dishroom and storage areas, and help keep floors dry.
• Collaborate with Line Cooks to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by a Manager.
