Job summary

O’Charley’s is seeking a friendly, energetic Dish Operator to join our kitchen team. You’ll set up and break down the dish machine, wash and store wares, and help maintain a clean, safe work area in a fast-paced environment.

As part of the team, you’ll collaborate with Line Cooks to ensure timely service, follow sanitation standards, and support preventive maintenance while always putting guests first.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down dish machine; clean and polish thoroughly; report defects.
• Wash and store dishes, small wares and glasses according to procedures; monitor water temperature.
• Check trash for silverware and other items; keep dishroom clean and trash areas sanitized.
• Keep dishroom and detergent storage neat; ensure floors are dry.
• Work as a team with line cooks to maintain a clean kitchen and efficient service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a Manager.
