O'Charley's is seeking a reliable Dish Operator to support daily kitchen operations. You will set up and operate the dish machine, wash and store wares, and help keep the dishroom clean and organized while following safety and sanitation standards.

By working closely with Line Cooks and the rest of the team, you will contribute to a smooth, high‑quality dining experience for guests. Candidates should be able to stand long hours and handle regular lifting, with a positive, team‑oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Operates dish machine and follows sanitation procedures.
• Maintains cleanliness and order in dishroom and storage areas.
• Adheres to safety guidelines and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down dish machine, clean and inspect operation; report defects.
• Wash and store dishes, presoak, rack and wash silverware per procedures; monitor water temperature.
• Check trash with a Manager; remove trash; sanitize garbage cans and lids.
• Keep dishroom and detergent storage neat; ensure floors stay dry.
• Work as a team with Line Cooks to maintain a clean kitchen and efficient service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a Manager.
