Job summary

Kirkland & Ellis is seeking a Legal Practice Technology Discovery Advisor in Nashville to lead high-stakes discovery projects, optimize workflows, and mentor teams. You will apply Relativity and advanced analytics to deliver efficient, defensible results across complex litigation.

In this hybrid role, you will collaborate with attorneys, review teams and outside counsel, driving process improvements and innovating using GenAI tools to streamline document review and discovery workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years supporting complex document review projects and discovery across large-scale litigation.
• Strong knowledge of eDiscovery lifecycle, from data preservation through trial.
• Hands-on experience with Relativity and major eDiscovery platforms; strong search and review design.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end discovery processes across large, complex matters from investigation to production.
• Coordinate onboarding, training, and quality assurance of review teams; support privilege logging and fact development.
• Design and implement review workflows using batching, TAR, and defensible search methodologies.
• Define scope, track progress, lead meetings, and coordinate with internal teams, outside counsel, vendors and clients.
• Analyze findings, provide metrics, identify gaps, and help case teams prepare for depositions and trial.
• Provide hands-on Relativity support; assist with privilege logs, advanced searches, QC, and custom tools.
• Support team development through training and internal documentation.
• Handle special projects with technical and consulting support as needed.
