Job summary

Kirkland & Ellis is seeking a Discovery Advisor for the Litigation & Practice Technology group in the Miami area. You will manage high-stakes document review projects from start to finish, leveraging Relativity, analytics, and GenAI to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Responsibilities include designing workflows, training teams, and collaborating with attorneys and clients to deliver timely, cost-effective results across complex matters.

Qualifications

• JD required with bar admission
• Minimum 7 years of experience with complex document review projects and discovery across large-scale litigation
• Deep knowledge of litigation lifecycle and eDiscovery protocols
• Hands-on experience with Relativity and other major eDiscovery platforms
• Experience using GenAI tools to streamline document review and discovery workflows
• Familiarity with TAR and analytics tools to drive efficiency
• Ability to lead and train contract attorneys and review teams
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Willingness to travel for project demands

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end discovery processes across large, complex litigation matters from investigation to production
• Coordinate onboarding, training, and quality assurance of review teams
• Design and implement review workflows, including batching, TAR, and defensible search methodologies
• Define scope, track progress, lead meetings, and coordinate with internal teams, outside counsel, vendors, and clients
• Analyze and summarize review findings, provide metrics, identify gaps, flag key documents
• Provide hands-on Relativity support and assist with privilege logs and advanced searches
• Support knowledge sharing through training and publications
• Execute technical and consulting support for special client requests
