Job summary

Western Union is seeking a Manager, Discovery and Litigation Specialist to lead multiple litigation processes, manage the legal hold and eDiscovery lifecycle, and collaborate with internal and external partners to protect the company in defensive matters. • Bachelor’s degree required and paralegal experience in handling complex litigation.
• Demonstrated experience managing legal hold and eDiscovery processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior organizational ability with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Self-starter who can work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the legal hold process, ensuring timely and effective communication and preservation compliance.
• Oversee the eDiscovery lifecycle from data collection to production with internal and external stakeholders.
• Serve as primary contact for outside counsel and provide comprehensive litigation support.
• Assist with case preparation and manage large volumes of documents and evidence.
• Draft and review legal correspondence, pleadings, and discovery responses under attorney supervision.
• Independently respond to subpoenas, consumer requests, and other information requests.
• Maintain litigation databases and document management systems.
• Collaborate with IT, compliance, and business units to support litigation projects.
• Stay current with eDiscovery tech and best practices and mentor team members.
