Job summary

Western Union seeks a seasoned Manager, Discovery and Litigation Specialist to own multiple litigation processes, lead legal hold and eDiscovery efforts, and collaborate across IT, compliance, and business units. You will coordinate data collection, processing, review, and production while engaging external counsel and defending the company in various matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years of paralegal litigation experience preferred in corporate or law firm settings.
• Strong experience managing legal hold and eDiscovery processes.
• Advanced proficiency with eDiscovery platforms and legal hold software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the legal hold process and ensure preservation compliance.
• Oversee the eDiscovery lifecycle with data collection, processing, review, and production.
• Serve as primary contact for outside counsel and provide litigation support.
• Assist with case preparation and manage large volumes of documents and evidence.
• Draft and review legal correspondence and discovery requests under attorney supervision.
• Investigate and respond to subpoenas and consumer complaints.
• Maintain litigation databases and document management systems.
• Collaborate with IT, compliance, and business units on litigation projects.
• Stay current with litigation tech and best practices in eDiscovery.
• Train and mentor team members in litigation support procedures.
