Rotech Healthcare is seeking a Hospital Liaison to serve as a vital connection between hospital staff and our home healthcare services. You will coordinate discharge planning and ensure timely delivery and setup of respiratory and DME equipment at the point of discharge.

This role emphasizes education for patients and caregivers, collaboration with case management, and travel to patient homes. You’ll work with clinicians to support safe transitions and meet regulatory standards.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with medical equipment or healthcare setting is desirable.
• Familiarity with medical billing and insurance reimbursement.
• Background in medical administration and record management.
• At least three years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clear English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with hospital case managers, social workers, nurses, and physicians to coordinate patient discharges.
• Ensure timely delivery and setup of respiratory and DME equipment at discharge.
• Educate patients and caregivers on proper equipment use and maintenance.
• Support emergency equipment needs and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Travel to patient homes for equipment setup and follow-up using a company vehicle.
• Maintain relationships with hospital personnel and assist with discharge planning.
