Job summary

EY's Forensics Insurance and Federal Claims Services practice assists clients with financial recovery after disasters, offering grants management, compliance, and insurance claims services to public and private sector entities. The role involves government and public sector engagements, managing complex grant programs, and coordinating with EY professionals across solutions.

Travel to client sites and in-office work are required, with a hybrid model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, emergency management or related field.
• 5+ years related compliance, audit, financial management, disaster recovery and/or emergency management experience.
• Professional designation such as CPA, CFE, or CEM.
• Disaster management experience, preferably within a professional services firm.
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to prioritize multi-engagement work.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills; able to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel and work long hours when necessary.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engagement teams to support government and public sector clients on disaster recovery funding compliance and management.
• Lead interactions with local governments to develop project scope and ensure programmatic requirements are met.
• Manage teams monitoring federally funded projects and perform transaction testing and compliance verification.
• Support business development initiatives across EY teams.
