Job summary

EY’s Forensics Insurance and Federal Claims Services supports government and large private entities in recovery and compliance for disaster-related funding programs. You will lead engagement teams, drive client relationships, and manage complex projects across FEMA, HUD CDBG‑DR, and ARPA, with travel to client sites as needed.

The role emphasizes leadership, advanced analytics, and strong communication to navigate multi‑agency requirements within a globally connected EY team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting, law, finance, business or related field.
• 9+ years’ related compliance, audit, financial management, disaster recovery and/or emergency management experience.
• Professional designation such as CPA, CFE, or CEM.
• Excellent project and time‑management skills and the ability to prioritize on multiple engagements.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Quantifiable history of business development success.
• Ability and willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours when needed.
• Access to reliable transportation; driver’s license recommended.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement teams to provide government and public sector clients with services related to grant and stimulus programs (FEMA, HUD CDBG‑DR, ARPA).
• Develop client relationships and establish engagement processes; coordinate with stakeholders to resolve compliance issues.
• Oversee multiple projects to ensure work meets client needs and quality standards.
• Travel and presence at client sites, along with in‑office work, required.
• Lead business and practice development initiatives and nurture cross‑service line collaboration.
