Job summary

Endeavors seeks a Disaster Human Services Case Manager to perform survivor-centered case management during field or remote deployments. You will conduct intake, assess needs, develop recovery plans, coordinate resources, and document progress while maintaining privacy and ensuring equitable access.

This deployable role includes housing allowances and per diems upon deployment; requires Bachelor's degree and disaster-related experience, with strict readiness and training requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, or related field; equivalent education/experience may be considered.
• Experience in case management, human services, crisis intervention, benefits/resource navigation, disaster recovery, or community-based services preferred.
• Professional language skills; second language is highly desirable; EMT/IS/NIMS training and security awareness are required.
• Must complete organization screening, background checks, cybersecurity training, Rules of Behavior, and disaster management training before deployment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct disaster survivor intake, screening, and needs assessments using approved tools and procedures.
• Develop individualized recovery plans with survivors, set achievable goals, and update plans as needs change.
• Identify and coordinate federal, state, local and community resources to address unmet needs.
• Provide referrals and follow-up; assist survivors in navigating benefits and recovery resources.
