Job summary

Endeavors seeks a Disaster Case Manager to support individuals and families affected by disasters in their recovery journey. You will conduct outreach, assess needs, develop recovery plans, and connect clients to resources and services with empathy and accuracy.

The role requires collaboration with health professionals and other stakeholders, documentation of case history, and regular updates to supervisors. Travel, nights, weekends, and holidays may be required to meet program needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services preferred.
High School diploma or GED with three years of relevant experience required.
Two years of experience for degree holders in child welfare, emergency disaster response, or recovery environments preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct outreach to disaster-affected clients and complete eligibility assessments.
Perform home and community visits to provide ongoing support.
Collaborate with clients to develop recovery plans addressing unmet needs.
Monitor progress and assess effectiveness of services through follow-ups.
Identify and connect clients with available benefits and services.
Maintain detailed records of client background and progress.
Document case information using online software and generate reports.
