Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with social services, emergency management, disaster relief or nonprofit coordination.
• Travel required up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Empower and guide a diverse volunteer team delivering disaster cycle services.
• Support successful implementation of disaster cycle activities in the assigned geographic area.
• Engage disaster volunteers who reflect the communities served, culturally and linguistically.
• Build partnerships with local organizations to mobilize communities before, during and after disasters.
• Respond to local disasters as part of the Disaster Cycle Services team.
