Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Community Disaster Program Manager to coordinate disaster cycle services, mobilize volunteers, and build partnerships across communities. You will ensure readiness, lead diverse teams, and deploy to disaster operations as needed, with emphasis on equity and community resilience.

• Empower Volunteers: Lead and support a diverse volunteer team responsible for disaster cycle services across the assigned area.
• Lead the Program: Implement disaster cycle services activities within the region.
• Engage Community: Mobilize communities and partner with organizations to prepare for and respond to disasters.
• Prospect and partner with organizations and leaders supporting frontline communities and resilience.
• Ready to Respond: Initiate and coordinate disaster relief operations in alignment with OPS.
