Job summary

Easterseals Hawaii in Hawaii is seeking a Service Supervisor to lead participant-centered services for adults with disabilities in program, community, or home settings. You will oversee staff, coordinate ISP meetings, and promote independence in daily living activities.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills, with a focus on safety, compliance with regulations, and community integration for participants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or education, or 1+ year experience with individuals with disabilities or elderly.
• Registered Nurse license in Hawaii, or 2+ years direct experience with individuals with disabilities.
• Employed by Easterseals Hawaii for at least six months; good communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to document accurately; HIPAA awareness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a participant caseload and encourage independence.
• Attend ISP and other required meetings.
• Assist Program Manager with staff orientation, training, and evaluations.
• Assess participants’ current level of independence to develop ISP-based objectives.
• Coordinate community integration and participation in activities of interest.
• Supervise DSWs and ACs to ensure compliance and safety.
• Train DSWs to implement ISP and document progress notes and events.
• Review GERs, mileage, timecards, and reimbursement documentation.
• Respond to emergencies and apply safety procedures as defined.
