Easterseals Hawaii is seeking a Direct Support Worker to assist adults with disabilities in program, community, or home-based settings. You will help clients develop skills, grow independence, and participate in daily life with strong training provided.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, ensuring health and safety, and collaborating with a care team. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered, with a full-time, on-site role in Hawaii.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.

Aufgaben

• Support participants to achieve the highest level of independence in pursuing their good life.
• Provide input on and implement the participant’s Individual Plan.
• Follow guidelines to promote health and safety.
• Monitor, respond to and report issues to the Case Coordinator or supervisor.
• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities as needed while respecting privacy.
• Complete participant-related data and documentation by deadlines via web-based platform.
• Submit timesheets and required paperwork by deadlines via FoC platforms.
• Attend department meetings and trainings as required.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe environment.
• Respond to emergencies as defined in FoC procedures.
• Report safety concerns to the Program Manager.
• Handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
