Job summary

Easterseals Hawaii is seeking a dedicated supervisor to support adults with disabilities, guiding development and community integration in program, community, or home-based settings. You will manage staff, review plans, and ensure quality services under HIPAA and CARF standards.

The role emphasizes data collection, progress notes, and incident reporting while coordinating with case managers and external partners. Travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 1+ years verifiable experience with individuals with disabilities or elderly.
• High School diploma or GED with 2+ years relevant experience.
• Under supervision, meet criteria for six months: degree or 1+ year exp with disabilities/elderly.
• People skills, advocacy, relationship building, and strong communication required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a participant caseload and promote independence.
• Attend ISP meetings and assist program leadership with orientation and evaluations.
• Supervise Direct Support Workers and Activity Coordinators.
• Ensure Waiver and CARF compliance and safety practices.
• Train staff on ISP implementation, data collection, and progress notes.
• Respond to emergencies and interpret policies per procedures.
