Job summary

Easterseals Hawaii is seeking Direct Support Workers to assist adults with disabilities in programs, community, or home-based settings. Training provided to help you confidently support participants in developing skills and increasing community integration.

Responsibilities include personal care, documenting data, timesheets, and attending trainings. Must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and ensure confidentiality. Sign-on bonus of $500 is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
• Ability to adhere to HIPAA/confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Support participants to achieve independence as defined by their good life.
• Implement and follow the participant's Individual Plan.
• Follow guidelines to promote health and safety of participants.
• Monitor and report issues to supervisor.
