Easterseals Hawaii is seeking Direct Support Workers to help adults with disabilities develop skills and achieve independence in programs, homes, or community settings on Oahu. Training provided and a $500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Responsibilities include implementing the Individual Plan, documenting progress, promoting health and safety, and assisting with daily living activities while respecting privacy. Must be 18+, HS diploma or GED, and proficient with basic computer tools.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a High School diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to follow plans and meet documentation deadlines using FoC platforms.

Responsabilités

• Support participants to achieve independence per their good life definition.
• Follow Individual Plans and document progress.
• Maintain health and safety guidelines in all settings.
• Complete timesheets, credentialing, and trainings on time.
• Attend department meetings and trainings.
