Job summary

Randstad Digital Americas seeks a Contract Absence Management Support Specialist in Columbus, Ohio. The role initiates absence management database processes, follows integrated disability workflows, and supports the department administratively.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow predefined absence management case workflows to classify cases for Integrated Disability Specialists.
• Communicate with employees via phone and email to gather information on absence requests.
• Prepare absence case notes documenting activities for compliance.
• Provide initial troubleshooting for entering absence cases into the database and create cases as needed.
• Manage Integrated Disability Recovery Center mail and case communications.
• Process invoices from vendors and reimbursements in AEP Accounts Payable.
• Monitor voicemail and email boxes for the center and respond as needed.
• Maintain confidential employee records and PII.

Responsibilities

• Follow pre-defined absence management case workflows within the absence management database to classify absence management cases for further work by Integrated Disability Specialists.
• Communicate with employee via phone and e-mail to obtain additional information regarding their absence request.
• Prepare absence case notes to document case activities in compliance with standard practices and regulations.
• Provide initial troubleshooting support for employees who are having difficulty in entering an absence management case into the databse. Create absence management cases within the absence management databse for supervisors or employees who may be unable to do so.
• Manage all Integrated Disability Recovery Center incoming and outgoing hard copy mail including case management communications prepared by Integrated Disability Specialists
• Work within AEP's Accounts Payable systems to process invoices from vendors, reimbursements issued to employees or membership dues.
• Monitor and respond to calls left on the Integrated Disability Recovery Center group voicemail and e-mail boxes.
• Maintain confidential employee records and personal identifiable information.

Minimum Requirements

Education requirements are listed below: Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources management, industrial management, health care administration, psychology, or equivalent education and/or experience.

Work Experience Requirement

Experience in medical terminology, case management, or human resource management preferred but no prior work experience required.

Other Requirements

Physical demand level is Sedentary and position is classified as onsite.
