Job description

About the Opportunity

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience managing multi-state leave cases, navigating the ADA interactive process, and administering employee benefits. While foundational processes are already in place, the organization is looking for someone who will identify gaps, recommend improvements, and help create a more efficient and accessible employee experience.
Reporting to the Total Rewards Manager, this role will own much of the day-to-day administration and employee support while contributing to broader process improvements and the company’s HRIS transition.

Responsibilities
  • Administer multi-state leaves of absence, including FMLA, state leave and paid-leave programs, personal leave, and company-approved leave.
  • Make eligibility and designation determinations and maintain accurate leave, return-to-work, and compliance documentation.
  • Lead the ADA interactive process and coordinate accommodations with HR and operational leaders.
  • Serve as an employee resource for benefits questions, enrollments, qualifying life events, and open enrollment.
  • Communicate with employees, HR business partners, and operational leaders throughout the leave and accommodation process.
  • Audit benefits and leave information in the HRIS and troubleshoot issues related to an upcoming Dayforce implementation.
  • Identify gaps and recommend improvements to leave processes, employee communications, training, and data integrity.
  • Support workers’ compensation administration, compliance audits, and OSHA reporting.
  • Assist with benefits orientation, onboarding education, and I-9 support for the corporate support center as needed.
Qualifications
  • Four to six years of experience in benefits administration, leave administration, or a related HR role.
  • Hands-on experience independently administering leaves of absence and ADA accommodations.
  • Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and multi-state leave requirements.
  • Broad knowledge of employee benefits, enrollments, and qualifying life events.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and sensitive employee situations.
  • Clear, articulate communication and a genuine interest in supporting employees and leaders.
  • Initiative, urgency, adaptability, and strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience working in an HRIS environment.
  • Comfortable working a hybrid schedule in Englewood, Colorado, with Mondays and Fridays remote.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting annual open enrollment.
  • Experience developing benefits communications or employee education.
  • Experience with Dayforce implementations or identifying issues during an HRIS transition.
  • ADP experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent work experience.
  • CEBS, CLMS, SHRM-CP, or PHR certification.
Schedule and Location

This is a hybrid position based in Englewood, Colorado. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with Mondays and Fridays remote. Occasional travel to club locations may be required.

Additional Information

The organization is currently using ADP and is going through a Dayforce implementation. Experience identifying HRIS issues, troubleshooting data or process concerns, or supporting an HRIS transition would be valuable.
The initial priorities for this role will include learning the organization’s benefits and leave programs, workflows, stakeholders, and active cases; reviewing the existing leave process; identifying opportunities to improve tracking and documentation; supporting the Dayforce implementation; building the benefits communication calendar; preparing for open enrollment in the first two weeks of November; and recommending improvements to employee communications, training, and benefits education.
