Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services in Ohio is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the coordination of services for individuals with developmental disabilities in home settings. The role includes supervising staff, scheduling, and ensuring high-quality expectations are met across medical, behavioral, and community activities.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience, strong communication tools, and a proven ability to train and lead teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in developmental disability field.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure individuals served receive quality services and are engaged with the community.
• Coordinate and manage all services and supports for individuals served, including medical appointments and household management.
• Use behavioral health interventions to improve outcomes.
• Develop and assess behavior support strategies and provide training.
• Collaborate with service team to ensure clear communication and strong customer service.
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals and ensure thorough training.
• Monitor staffing hours to ensure appropriate service coverage for all shifts.
• Provide excellent service to individuals, families/guardians, and county partners.

Program Manager

$48,000 per year / Full Time / On Call Required

At ViaQuest Residential Services we provide quality support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes.

Responsibilities may include:

• Ensure that the individuals we serve are receiving quality services and are engaged with the community.
• Coordinate and manage all services and supports for the individuals served, including medical appointments, household management, behavior management, financial services, benefits, etc.
• Use behavioral health interventions to improve outcomes for individuals served.
• Assist in the ongoing development of behavior support strategies and ensuring the implementation of these strategies, including providing training and assessing the effectiveness of the behavior support.
• Collaborate with all members of the individuals’ service team to ensure great communication and customer service is in place.
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals and make sure they are thoroughly trained and providing the best possible services.
• Monitor staffing hours to ensure appropriate services are provided and coverage is in place for all shifts.
• Provide great customer service to individuals served, families/guardians, the county board, and all members of the service team.

Requirements for this position include:

• High school diploma/GED or higher.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Displays strong communication skills and possess excellent decision-making and time-management skills.
