Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a skilledNetwork Engineer for a contract-to-hire role at Scott Air Force Base, IL. You will coordinate customer requests, perform IT&A, and manage DISA-compliant configurations for Cisco and Juniper devices, ensuring accurate POC data and site interfaces.

The role involves upgrading devices, planning IP schemes, and creating project documents to support service activations, with a focus on security and DISA standards.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to coordinate customer requirements and document hardware/software specifications.
• Experience configuring and testing Cisco and Juniper devices per DISA standards.
• DoD/ DISA knowledge including security requirements and government processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer needs and ensure accurate POC, locations, and interfaces.
• Perform IT&A, DISA configuration, and out-of-band management tasks.
• Upgrade Cisco/Juniper devices and manage IP addressing schemes and ports.
• Prepare project planning docs and support tasking for service activations.
