Job summary

Roads to Success is seeking a Management-level Program Director to lead and oversee a NYC program site in Brooklyn. The role ensures high-quality program implementation, staff performance, youth safety, and strong family/school partnerships.

Reporting to the Director of Program Operations, the director supervises staff and drives enrollment, attendance, and compliance with DYCD and school-partner requirements. Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Youth Development, Social Work, Human Services, Recreation, Psychology, Public Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in youth development, after-school programming, education, or related field.
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership and oversight of the assigned program site.
• Ensure consistent implementation of RTS program standards, schedules, activities, and youth development practices.
• Maintain a safe, organized, inclusive, and welcoming program environment.
• Manage daily staffing assignments, transitions, activities, attendance, meals, and dismissal procedures.
• Communicate staffing, operational, safety, and program concerns to the Director of Program Operations.
