Job summary

New York Junior Tennis & Learning (NYJTL) seeks a Program Director to lead our DYCD-funded after-school program across multiple sites in Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx and Manhattan.

You will manage contract compliance, program quality, staffing, school partnerships, family engagement, data reporting, and safety to ensure an inclusive, high‑quality experience for youth. This is a full‑time, leadership role with focus on continuous improvement and collaboration with partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Youth Development, Public Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years in youth development or after-school, with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of DYCD-funded programs and NYC after-school landscape.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, families, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management for a DYCD-funded after-school program.
• Ensure program quality, enrollment targets, and staffing compliance.
• Supervise and develop program staff and partnerships with schools.
• Engage families and communities and coordinate with partners.
• Monitor data, reporting, and budget management.
