Job summary

Motion seeks a People Systems Director to lead strategy, optimization, and ongoing management of the Workday HRIS. You will ensure regulatory compliance, drive data accuracy, and work with HR COE, IT, and business leaders to optimize functionality and user experience.

You will oversee data governance, security, and global HR processes across modules including core HR, payroll, benefits, and learning, while mentoring a team of HRIS analysts and product owners to deliver high-impact initiatives.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading Workday HRIS implementations and global operations.
• Deep knowledge of Workday HCM modules and global integrations.
• Strong understanding of international HR processes and data privacy laws.
• Proven leadership of multicultural teams and diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent project management and delivery of large tech initiatives.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and roadmap for Workday HRIS aligned with HR and business goals.
• Manage Workday optimization, upgrades, configurations, and integrations.
• Oversee HR data governance, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with HR partners, IT, and vendors for HRIS support and innovations.
• Develop and enforce HRIS policies and data integrity best practices.
• Direct a team of HRIS analysts and Workday product owners.
• Analyze HR processes to configure Workday modules (core HR, payroll, etc.).
• Drive user training, adoption, and global support initiatives.
• Monitor system performance and lead continuous improvement.
• Manage budgets and vendor relationships for HRIS services.
