Job summary

ClickHouse is seeking a Director, People Systems to own the strategy and evolution of our global HR systems, with Workday at the core. You will be the senior SME and strategic partner ensuring scalable data, processes, and technology across the organization.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, manage external partners, and establish governance while driving Workday releases, integrations, and analytics, shaping a world-class HR tech ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in HRIS / People Systems with significant Workday ownership in global org.
• Deep Workday expertise; led or played a leadership role in a full-cycle Workday implementation.
• Strong understanding of Workday architecture, configuration, integrations, security, reporting, and data governance.
• Experience developing and executing a People Systems strategy and roadmap.
• Experience scaling People technology in a high-growth, global organization.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and cross-system interactions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
• Vendor and implementation-partner management experience.
• Ability to operate strategically and hands-on while building out the function.

Responsibilities

• Own the global People Systems strategy and roadmap with Workday at the core.
• Lead design, configuration, optimization, and evolution of Workday across modules (Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking).
• Establish systems architecture, governance, security, data integrity, and change-management standards.
• Partner with People, Finance, IT, Security and business leaders to translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Lead Workday releases, enhancements, integrations, testing, and adoption of new functionality.
• Own the integration strategy between Workday and other systems.
• Advance People data, reporting, and analytics capabilities to support decision-making.
• Evaluate the People tech landscape and recommend investments and consolidations.
• Identify opportunities for automation and AI to improve processes, data quality, and employee experience.
• Manage external vendors and implementation partners, ensuring delivery against priorities.
• Establish scalable processes and documentation for a growing global organization.
• Serve as senior escalation point and SME for complex People Systems issues.
