Motorola Solutions is seeking a Director of Computer Vision to drive the technical vision, research, and engineering execution for our platform. You will lead a distributed team, define architecture, and oversee end-to-end MLOps across edge and cloud to deliver scalable visual intelligence solutions.

The role requires 10+ years of leadership in computer vision with enterprise-scale deployments and a track record of turning ambiguous customer needs into actionable roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical leadership experience leading computer vision teams and organizations.
• Strong expertise in computer vision, machine learning, and end-to-end MLOps lifecycle.
• Proven ability to define architectural vision for central AI infrastructure and drive strategy.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term research agenda for foundational computer vision capabilities.
• Provide executive technical leadership to research and engineering, aligning architecture with product strategy.
• Scale a distributed organization (50–100 people) and mentor senior technical talent.
• Own the end-to-end MLOps lifecycle for central models and AI infrastructure.
• Define technical performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead risk management and make build-vs-buy decisions.
