Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Director of Computer Vision to set the technical vision and lead an enterprise-scale CV platform. You will oversee end-to-end ML model development, deployment, and optimization across edge and cloud, while building and mentoring a distributed team of engineers and researchers.

The role requires 10+ years of leadership in CV, expertise in ML and MLOps, and a track record of delivering scalable, performance-driven solutions for safety-focused applications.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical leadership experience leading computer vision teams and organizations.
• Hands-on experience building and optimizing computer vision models and ML systems; expertise in end-to-end MLOps.
• Experience defining technical roadmaps and metrics for large-scale platforms.
• Experience managing 50–100 people distributed across geographies.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term research agenda for fundamental computer vision capabilities.
• Provide executive technical leadership to a unified research and engineering organization, defining architecture, strategy and roadmap for the Computer Vision Platform.
• Lead multiple teams across geographies and strategize talent recruitment and mentoring.
• Own end-to-end MLOps lifecycle across edge and cloud environments with scalable deployment and monitoring.
• Define performance metrics and drive continuous improvement in execution and delivery.
• Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge computer vision research and manage technical risk.
