Motorola Solutions is seeking a Director of Computer Vision to drive the technical vision and deliver scalable, AI-powered video analytics platforms. You will lead a global organization, shape architecture, and oversee end-to-end machine-learning deployment across edge and cloud environments.

The role requires 10+ years of leadership in computer vision, deep expertise in CV/AI, and strong talent management with a startup-mentality, delivering high-impact results in complex, mission-critical

Qualifications

10+ years of technical leadership in computer vision teams.
Hands-on CV, ML, and MLOps lifecycle experience.
Experience defining architecture for central, reusable AI infrastructure.
Proven track record leading 50–100 person teams across geographies.
Startup mindset with ownership, bias for action, and comfort with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

Define the long-term computer vision research agenda and technical strategy.
Lead a unified research and engineering organization with architecture and roadmap for CV platform.
Scale distributed teams, mentor senior talent, and drive recruiting.
Own end-to-end MLOps and deployment lifecycle across edge and cloud.
Establish and monitor performance metrics like latency, throughput, and reliability.
Identify and mitigate significant technical risks and guide critical build-versus-buy decisions.
