Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) Private Equity Performance Improvement is seeking a Director, Transformation Services to lead and deliver large, complex engagements with PE leadership. You will design and implement performance improvements, drive cost reduction, and optimize organizational structure across portfolio companies.

The role emphasizes hands-on consulting across multiple areas, with opportunities to advance professionally within a growing PE practice.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional industry or consulting experience implementing cost reduction programs, organizational restructuring, and cost structure improvements.
• MBA from a top-tier school highly preferred.
• Experience working with PE relationships is a plus.
• Experience working in both professional services and industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver large, complex engagements with Private Equity leadership to identify, design, and implement creative business solutions.
• Identify opportunities to significantly reduce cost structure by changes to leadership, staffing, and back-office functions.
• Synthesize data, opinions, or facts to enhance EBITDA and operating efficiency.
• Develop findings and make strategic recommendations.
• Hands-on experience across margins, pricing, S&OP, sourcing, org structure, and working capital improvements.
