Job summary

Commence is seeking a Director of Technical Delivery to lead technology program delivery for federal and commercial healthcare customers. You will direct a team of delivery managers, BAs, TPMs, Solution Architects, and Implementation specialists, aligning plans with engineering, data, and security.

You will own delivery outcomes, establish metrics, and ensure early compliance and security obligations across programs, while coordinating across leadership for capacity and roadmap sequencing.

Qualifications

• 10+ years delivering complex technology programs with leadership experience.
• Experience overseeing a portfolio of concurrent programs with clear deliverables.
• Familiarity with federal contract vehicles, schedules, and stakeholders.
• Strong technical fluency to challenge estimates and guide architecture.
• Experience in a matrixed resourcing model and cross-functional delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Technical Delivery organization including managers and architects.
• Own delivery outcomes across the program portfolio and coordinate resources.
• Establish consistent delivery practices: intake, estimation, planning cadence, risk management.
• Oversee customer implementations from contract through go-live and support.
• Serve as senior delivery contact for government and partner stakeholders.
