Job summary

Quarterhill Inc. is seeking a Director, Technical Delivery in the United States to lead strategic and hands-on delivery across a portfolio of customer implementations.

You will set the technical direction, partner with executives, and drive scalable, high-quality solutions while mentoring a team of Technical Delivery Managers. This senior role requires deep tolling domain knowledge, strong communication with executives, and the ability to translate complex requirements into practical delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, IT or related discipline.
• 10+ years tolling industry experience, with two full-cycle agency system deliveries preferred.
• Demonstrated experience delivering complex or enterprise system solutions.
• Strong understanding of system integration, software delivery lifecycles and customer implementation strategies.
• Prior experience mentoring technical delivery managers or similar leads.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Delivery, Product, Program Management and Business Leadership to define robust solutions aligned with objectives.
• Serve as the senior technical authority across customer implementations and match product capabilities to client needs.
• Champion a positive customer experience and establish standards ensuring solution quality and reliability.
• Lead technology assessments and continuous improvement, driving changes into delivery practice.
• Refine delivery methodologies and establish best practices for the TDM team.
• Synthesize customer requirements to inform product roadmap and strategy discussions with senior leadership.
• Maintain expert knowledge of tolling systems and Quarterhill platforms and ensure this expertise is shared across the team.
• Own delivery outcomes across a portfolio of programs and ensure on-time, high-quality results at scale.
• Lead, mentor and develop Technical Delivery Managers and coordinate with PMO for disciplined planning and risk management.
