Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in the United States seeks a Director to lead and deliver large, complex client engagements at the intersection of business and technology for private equity clients and their portfolio companies. You will oversee pre-acquisition IT diligence, interim IT management, and Day‑1/100‑day planning, while coaching staff and shaping delivery across offices.

Qualifications

10+ years of professional consulting or relevant industry experience, with a minimum of five years specializing in systems implementations, merger integration, business transformation, and change management.
Extensive experience working for or with private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, or related transaction/merger integration experience.
Deep functional expertise in IT merger integration and carve-out; ERP or related transformation program management; cost reduction and IT operations.

Responsibilities

Lead large, complex client engagements for private equity clients and their portfolio companies.
Pre-acquisition IT diligence focusing on ERP, WMS, CRM, IT infrastructure, and architecture.
Interim IT management and Day‑1/100‑day planning to drive performance improvements.
Oversee deliverables quality and manage delivery teams and client relationships.
Coach and develop staff, participate in recruitment and retention activities.
