Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a Director for Tech Services M&A to lead large, complex engagements with private equity clients and their portfolio companies. You will direct IT diligence, integration planning, and Day‑1/Day‑100 execution while driving performance improvements across ERP, finance, and operations.

We expect 10+ years of consulting or related experience, with strong change management and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional consulting or relevant industry experience, with a minimum of five years specializing in systems implementations, merger integration, business transformation, and change management.
• Extensive experience working for or with private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, or related transaction/merger integration experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams and to engage with C-suite executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex client engagements identifying, designing, and implementing business and technology solutions for private equity clients and portfolio companies.
• Oversee IT diligence, merger integration and carve‑out planning and execution, Day‑1/Day‑100 objectives, and governance.
• Drive performance improvement in ERP, back office, supply chain, and BI/reporting integration, while coaching and developing staff.
