Job summary

Gartner is seeking a Senior Director in the BTI group to lead the development of must-have AI and supply chain insights for global clients. You will shape research agendas, mentor analysts, and present provocative, data-driven content to executives and clients at conferences and meetings.

You will drive thought leadership, deliver high-impact presentation materials, and collaborate with sales to translate market insights into client value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience.
• Experience communicating the value and ROI of AI investments to executives or senior leaders.
• Experience translating AI capabilities to supply chain outcomes.
• Experience assessing risk of AI in supply chain strategies.
• Experience governing supply chain AI solutions.
• Ability to articulate financial ROI and strategic value of AI investments to C-suite.
• Executive presence with the ability to establish credibility with executives and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and delivery skills under tight deadlines.
• Excellent research and writing ability.
• Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills; engage clients effectively.
• Ability to analyze and synthesize data and apply frameworks to client challenges.
• Clear, concise communication of complex concepts.
• Subject matter expertise and comfort presenting at varied speaking engagements.
• Strong business and financial acumen with knowledge of global market landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative, thought-provoking content and must-have insights.
• Develop new insights through thought leadership to address client needs.
• Identify root causes of client barriers and reframe thinking to drive strategy.
• Demonstrate thought leadership across a team of analysts.
• Provide independent, provocative insights to evolve research agendas.
• Research and predict market trends for actionable client insights.
• Offer actionable advice to clients via virtual or in-person interactions.
• Create and deliver high-value presentation materials for Gartner events and client briefings.
• Support sales with market voice to drive client engagement and progress.
• Provide content peer review and ensure high quality outputs.
• Build credibility as Gartner’s research methodology advocate.
• Participate in innovation and collaboration within the Insights community.
• Identify process improvements to enhance service delivery.
• Mentor junior team members and coach peers.
• Maintain client-centric engagement to promote regular interactions with Gartner insights.
