Job summary

Gartner is seeking a Senior Director in its Business and Technology Insights (BTI) group, a remote role based in North America. The leader will guide AI-focused software engineering strategy, deliver must-have insights, and mentor analysts to drive client impact at global scale.

Expect frequent client engagement, presentations, and collaboration with sales and executives. Responsibilities include shaping research agendas, measuring ROI of AI initiatives, and traveling up to 25% to meet clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience.
• Proven software engineering leadership experience with multi-team delivery.
• Deep expertise in software engineering strategy and AI value measurement.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative, thought-provoking, must-have insights content.
• Develop new insights and ideas to accelerate client needs.
• Lead analysis to identify root causes and reframe strategy.
• Demonstrate thought leadership across a team of analysts.
• Provide actionable insights to clients and Gartner leaders.
