Walmart is seeking a Director of Strategic Partnerships & Business Development to build and drive ecosystem partnerships across AI, Commerce and Growth platforms. The role partners with big tech, hyper-scalers, and foundation model providers to source opportunities, structure complex deals, and execute at scale.

You’ll bridge product, engineering, and commercial strategy while leading cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in business development or partnerships.
• 8+ years negotiating term sheets and agreements.
• Experience influencing executive leadership and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define Walmart’s top tech partnerships roadmap aligned to product and enterprise strategy.
• Launch and scale new tech partnerships that enable AI and other experiences.
• Develop exec-ready recommendations and influence senior leadership on strategic direction.
• Build and manage a strategic partners portfolio accelerating Walmart’s priorities.
• Lead end-to-end deal execution from exploratory discussions to full contract execution.
• Structure complex agreements involving IP, data rights, co-development, platform integrations.
