Job summary

Walmart is building the AI-powered future of Commerce. The Director of Strategic Partnerships & Business Development will craft and drive the ecosystem partnerships across AI, commerce, and growth platforms.

You will source opportunities, structure complex agreements, and execute deals at scale, bridging product, engineering, and commercial strategy. You will lead a matrixed team, govern partnerships, and build a portfolio that accelerates Walmart’s AI and growth agenda, engaging hyperscalers,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
8 years’ experience negotiating and managing term sheets with partners OR 6 years plus supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Define and lead Walmart’s tech partnerships roadmap aligned to product and enterprise strategy.
Conduct market analysis, tech diligence, and financial modeling for partner decisions.
Lead end-to-end deal execution from discussions to term sheets and contracts.
Structure agreements involving IP, data rights, co-development, and platform integrations.
Launch and scale new tech partnerships enabling AI and related experiences.
Collaborate across Engineering, Product, eCommerce, Advertising, and other teams.
