Job summary

You’ll mentor high‑performing teams, manage cross‑functional dependencies, and champion continuous improvement, shaping technology capabilities for Walmart’s Growth Tech initiatives and supplier/merchant insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related area with 6 years’ software engineering or related experience
• Option 2: 8 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
• 3 years' supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of complex software, data, and AI/ML systems ensuring reliability, scalability, and integration across platforms.
• Translate domain strategies into actionable plans, aligning teams with architecture and operational priorities.
• Oversee full software development lifecycle, championing DevOps practices and system health monitoring.
• Drive cloud cost optimization and reduce operational overhead to enhance engineering velocity.
• Mentor and develop high-performing teams, fostering professional growth and succession planning.
• Manage cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder alignment, and roadmap execution.
• Promote continuous improvement through innovation, feedback, and adoption of new technologies.
