Job summary

Thomasville Restoration will search for a Director of Specialty Services to lead 24/7 specialty operations across a multi-state region. You’ll ensure work is executed, documented, and billed accurately while maintaining high file quality and system integrity.

You will own hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development, manage divisional P&L, review costs, and collaborate with estimating, mitigation, reconstruction, and accounting teams to push efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of restoration experience in contents, specialty services, or related operations.
• Experience managing a fast-paced, 24/7 operation with attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of documentation, billing, and operational workflows.
• Experience cross-department collaboration and problem solving.
• IICRC certifications preferred (FSRT, OCT) with OSHA guidelines; familiarity with DASH/Xactimate/ICAT.

The Director of Specialty Services leads specialty service operations across a multi-state region. This role owns operational execution, documentation accuracy, and financial performance while ensuring strong coordination across departments and scalable systems.

What You’ll D o

• Lead 24/7 specialty service operations across a multi-state region.
• Ensure all work is executed, documented, and billed accurately.
• Drive consistency in documentation, inventories, and job file quality.
• Oversee workflow and ensure strong coordination across departments.
• Enforce adherence to the TVR Playbook and disciplined use of KnowHow.
• Implement and improve systems for inventory management, tracking, and documentation accuracy.
• Partner with HR to handle disciplinary or corrective action plans.
• Build and develop a high-performing, accountable team.
• Own hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development programs.
• Conduct annual performance reviews and establish clear expectations.
• Own divisional P&L performance, including cost control and profitability.
• Review and approve job costs, invoices, and financial allocations.
• Drive initiatives that improve efficiency, documentation accuracy, and margin.
• Participate in annual planning and long-term strategic initiatives.
• Ensure documentation supports billing, claims, and carrier expectations while reducing disputes.
• Maintain strong alignment with estimating, mitigation, reconstruction, and accounting teams.

Who You Are

• 7+ years of restoration experience in contents, specialty services, or related operations.
• Experience managing a fast-paced, detail-driven 24/7 operation.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and job auditing skills.
• Strong understanding of documentation, billing, and operational workflows.
• Experience working across departments and managing complexity.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and systems-thinking abilities.
• IICRC certifications preferred, including FSRT and OCT, in conjunction with OSHA guidelines.
• Experience with DASH, Xactimate, ICAT, or similar platforms.
