Job summary

Travere Therapeutics is seeking a Director, Specialty Pharmacy, Trade, and Distribution in San Diego to lead specialty pharmacy accounts, trade operations, and 3PL partnerships for FILSPARI. You will own accounts, drive performance, and optimize inventory, distribution, and patient access across the network.

The role collaborates with Access & Reimbursement, Patient Support, National Accounts, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT to align channel capabilities with growth; travel ~25%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent combination may be considered.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant pharmaceutical/biotech experience in specialty pharmacy accounts, trade and distribution, and patient access.
• Experience managing specialty pharmacy relationships, including account planning, business reviews, performance oversight, and issue resolution.
• Experience with specialty pharmaceutical distribution models, 3PL operations, and channel partner contract management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and translate strategy into operational execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead specialty pharmacy account management as primary relationship owner and drive account plans, reviews, accountability, and issue resolution.
• Oversee SP performance and patient access, monitor service levels and metrics to improve referral processing and time to therapy.
• Lead trade and distribution planning to ensure network capacity for product growth and evolving needs.
• Manage 3PL and distribution operations with Supply Chain and Finance for availability, inventory, ordering, and continuity.
• Lead channel partner contracting and financial oversight including service requirements, terms, budgets, invoices, and services.
• Drive data-driven improvements by partnering with IT, Analytics, and Commercial Ops on reporting and workflows.
• Lead partner onboarding and launch readiness, coordinating integration, training, inventory planning, and execution for new partners.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution with hub partners, field reimbursement, National Accounts, and internal stakeholders to resolve access barriers and ensure regulatory compliance.
