Job summary

Travere Therapeutics seeks a Director of Specialty Pharmacy, Trade, and Distribution to lead specialty pharmacy accounts, trade operations, and 3PL partnerships supporting FILSPARI. This role oversees patient access, service quality, and product availability, partnering with Access & Reimbursement, Patient Support, and cross-functional teams in a hybrid San Diego setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent education/experience considered.
• Minimum 10 years of pharma/biotech experience in specialty pharmacy, trade and distribution, and patient access.
• Directly managed specialty pharmacy relationships with account planning, reviews, performance oversight, and issue resolution.
• Experience with specialty distribution models, 3PL operations, and channel partner contracts.
• Leadership across cross-functional initiatives and translating strategy into execution.
• Experience supporting specialty products accessed through the pharmacy benefit preferred.
• Rare disease/limited distribution experience preferred.
• Team leadership experience with change management.
• Travel up to 25% domestically; on-site in San Diego as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead specialty pharmacy account management and drive account plans, business reviews, partner accountability, and issue resolution.
• Oversee performance, patient access, service levels, and metrics to improve referral processing and time to therapy.
• Lead trade and distribution planning to support product growth and evolving patient needs.
• Manage 3PL and distribution operations with inventory, replenishment, and business continuity.
• Oversee channel partner contracting, service requirements, budgets, and invoicing.
• Drive data-driven operational improvements with IT, Analytics, and Commercial Operations.
• Lead partner onboarding, launch readiness, and cross-functional execution for new partners.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to resolve access barriers and ensure regulatory compliance.
