Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Director of Space and Occupancy Planning to lead occupancy planning across a geographic region. Focus areas include space layout options, group moves, data organization, and client coordination to align with corporate CRE goals.

The role requires extensive experience in space planning, occupancy analysis, and collaboration with Move Managers and Project Managers to deliver efficient relocation plans and cost-saving strategies.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of related experience
• Minimum 5 years in a corporate team environment
• Management, coordination, execution of day-to-day service requests
• Experience communicating with all levels of management
• Experience in reviewing architectural and engineering drawings
• Development of site occupancy plans for short and long term scenarios

Responsibilities

• Oversees facility space and personnel move requests to maximize space efficiency
• Maintains relationships with client lines of business to understand requirements
• Makes recommendations to improve efficiency, service delivery, cost savings and asset utilization
• Collaborates with Strategy, Project Management, Facility Management and CRE team members
• Interfaces with Client to develop options and final documents for approval
• Serves as primary client contact for relocation requests with Move Manager
• Develops migration plans and sequencing of group relocations
• Organizes data into planning documents and proposals for handoff
• Ensures space management system reflects current occupancy
• Tracks space allocation data and key metrics
• Engages Furniture Coordinator and Project Manager as needed
