Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Director of Space and Occupancy Planning to lead occupancy strategy for specified portfolios in the US. You will oversee space and moves, develop options, and coordinate with Move and Project managers to align with CRE goals.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in corporate real estate, strong analytical and presentation skills, and a proven ability to manage complex relocation programs across teams and clients.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a related discipline (Architecture, Interior Design, CRE & Facilities Management)
• 7–10 years of related experience in a corporate team environment
• Experience communicating with all levels of management
• Experience reviewing architectural and engineering drawings, concepts & design

Responsibilities

• Oversees all facility space and personnel move requests to maximize space efficiency.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with client lines of business to understand requirements and impacts to the portfolio.
• Makes recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, service delivery, cost savings, and asset utilization.
• Collaborates with Strategy, Project Management, Facility Management and other CRE team members on all efforts.
• Interfaces with Client to develop options, finalize project concepts and secure client approval.
• Serves as the primary client contact for relocation requests and coordinates with Move Manager.
• Develops migration plans and sequencing of group relocations with PM and Move Manager.
• Organizes data into approved formats for planning and handoff (PowerPoint, spreadsheets, descriptions).
• Maintains space management data to reflect current occupancy across territories.
