Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Director of Global Space & Occupancy Planning. You will lead a global team delivering space management, occupancy planning, workplace strategy, and portfolio optimization for a major client portfolio.

Partner with CRE leadership and business stakeholders to translate requirements into data-driven solutions that enhance employee experience, efficiency, and portfolio value. This role requires executive presence and strong analytics.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, CRE, Facilities Management, Urban Planning, Business, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of progressive experience in Corporate Real Estate, Occupancy Planning, Workplace Strategy, Portfolio Planning, or Space Management.
5+ years of leadership experience managing regional or global teams.
Experience leading occupancy planning programs within large, complex corporate portfolios.
Strong executive presentation and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive strategic decision-making.
Advanced analytical skills with data-to-recommendation abilities.
Experience supporting hybrid workplace models and transformation initiatives.
Expertise in occupancy analytics, utilization planning, demand forecasting, capacity modeling, portfolio optimization.

Responsibilities

Lead global Space and Occupancy Planning across the client portfolio.
Develop short- and long-range occupancy strategies to optimize utilization.
Advise leadership on hybrid workforce trends and portfolio efficiencies.
Translate objectives into actionable occupancy and workplace solutions.
Develop portfolio-level recommendations to reduce costs and improve experience.
Establish global planning standards and governance processes.
Lead demand forecasting, capacity modeling, and scenario planning.
Provide executive-level insights from portfolio data.
Ensure accuracy of occupancy reporting across the portfolio.
Partner with client leadership to align workplace strategy with business priorities.
Drive portfolio transformation such as consolidations, relocations, and redesigns.
Engage with senior stakeholders and present complex data clearly.
Mentor a global team of planners and analytics professionals.
