Job summary

Vantage Data Centers LLC in North America is seeking a Director of Solutions Engineering to lead pre-sales and design for large-scale data center solutions. You will serve as a site SME, guiding space, power, cooling, and connectivity decisions while coordinating with Sales, Design, and Construction teams.

The role requires deep technical expertise in data center architecture, strong leadership, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or related field is required.
• 7–10 years in solutions engineering or related field with leadership experience.
• Proven ability to design high-density data center solutions and lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand objectives and technical requirements.
• Perform site surveys, due diligence, and whitespace assessment for tailored solutions.
• Develop detailed technical documentation and Scopes of Work (SOW).
• Collaborate with Sales, Design, Construction, and Operations for handoff to delivery.
• Present solutions through technical demos and site visits to win business.
