Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Director of Product Management for Security Products to define the next wave of the security portfolio. You will own strategy, build business cases, and lead cross‑functional execution with engineering, marketing, and sales from initial conversations to launch and growth.

You will drive customer discovery, analyze market opportunities, and shape a portfolio approach, balancing build, partner, or buy options while ensuring platform coherence with Cribl Detect and shared data

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management or a closely related role.
• Deep understanding of security operations—SIEM, detection engineering, incident response.
• Hands-on product experience in security automation and response, identity security, AI or agentic security.

Responsibilities

• Drive the strategy for the next wave of security products—market analysis, customer discovery, competitive landscape, and a clear recommendation on what to do first, second, and not at all.
• Build the business case for each area—the customer problem, market size, why Cribl can win, build/partner/buy options, and what it takes to get there.
• Lead execution for what we fund—define the product, write the requirements, set success metrics, and drive delivery with engineering from 0 to 1 and beyond.
• Make it one platform—ensure new capabilities integrate with Cribl Detect and share data models, detections, alerts, and workflows.
• Grow the team—recruit and mentor PMs as areas get funded, and represent Cribl security externally.
