Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Director of Product Management for Security Products to shape the next wave of Cribl's security portfolio. You will own strategy, build business cases, and drive from discovery to launch, collaborating with engineering, marketing, and sales across the organization.

You'll lead the definition of product requirements, success metrics, and cross-functional delivery while ensuring capabilities integrate with Cribl Detect and its shared data model.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management or closely related role (5+ years in security products).
• Deep understanding of security operations - SIEM, detection engineering, incident response, and SOC workflows.
• Hands-on product experience in security areas (SOAR, ITDR/UEBA, AI or agentic security, or threat detection).
• Proven track record of 0-to-1 product development with paying customers.
• Portfolio-level thinking with market evaluation and business cases.
• Leadership across PMs and cross-functional teams.
• Technical depth to discuss data architectures, detection logic, and AI/LLM-based systems.
• Strong written communication and ability to produce strategy docs and PRDs.
• Good judgment under uncertainty.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategy for next wave of security products - market analysis, customer discovery, competitive landscape, and prioritization.
• Build business cases for each area including customer problem, market size, why Cribl can win, build/partner/buy options, and what it takes to get there.
• Lead execution - define the product, write the requirements, set success metrics, and drive delivery from 0 to 1.
• Ensure new capabilities work with Cribl Detect via shared data model, detections, alerts, and workflows.
• Spend time with customers (CISOs, SOC managers, detection engineers) to validate direction.
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, and technology partners on positioning, packaging, launch, and enablement.
• Grow the team by hiring and mentoring product managers.
• Represent Cribl security externally at customers, analysts, and events.
