Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Director of Product Management for Security Products. You will own the next wave of Cribl's security portfolio, guiding strategy, evaluating opportunities, and deciding whether to build, partner, or buy.

Lead from first customer conversations to launch and growth, shaping a portfolio rather than inheriting one. You will lead cross-functional teams, write clear strategy docs, and align engineering, marketing, and sales around a unified security roadmap.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management or a closely related role.
• 5+ years building security products.
• Deep understanding of security operations—SIEM, detection, incident response.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy for the next wave of security products and prioritize initiatives.
• Build a business case for each area with market size and options (build, partner, or buy).
• Lead product definition, requirements, and success metrics from 0 to 1 and beyond.
• Ensure new capabilities work natively with Cribl Detect and shared data models.
• Spend time with CISOs and security teams to validate direction before committing.
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, and technical teams on positioning, packaging, and enablement.
• Grow the team by hiring and mentoring PMs to own areas.
• Represent Cribl security externally with customers, analysts, and events.
